Instructor (Brad?) was excellent. My teen daughter was in the class and I stayed to keep her company/observe. Brad was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He was clear in his teaching and allowed the students opportunities to practice the skills he introduced. He was very willing to answer questions and to help students practice skills to get them closer to their specific goals. I'd definitely bring my daughter to another class!

Hi! I'm Brad and after a long run in the professional world, I've been fortunate enough to take the skills I've learned and turn them into a business with the goal of helping you make and keep memories! Having a Master of Education degree and successfully working with both kids and adults, my goal is to make your picture-taking experience fun and stress-free. As the saying goes,
"A picture is worth a thousand words" and for me, picture-taking is the essence of storytelling. Remember, some of these pictures may hang on family walls for multiple generations!

I've been married for over twenty-five years and am a dad to two daughters, two dogs, and two cats and I enjoy traveling the world and learning about new things. I look forward to meeting you and seeing how I can help tell your story through images. I invite you to look through this website to see examples of how photographs can capture moments in the most unique ways.

Title or Location: Milky Way over Stanley Lake, Idaho
This is a single 25-second exposure of the Milky Way over Stanley Lake, Idaho taken in Sept. 2023 with no moon. Was attending a photo workshop at Redfish Lake, Idaho and went out for a night shoot at Stanley Lake. Had to wait some time for the Milky Way to get right over the saddle in the mountains to get the shot where it appears to be coming out of the mountain. Taken with a Nikon D750 at 16MM at F4. Only editing was some denoise for Astro in NX Studio.

I took my son to see an old friend because he wanted to play with wire wool and try and get some "cool" pictures. We also took some led masks with us too. Was an eventful night and I'm sure somewhere along the line will see the rest of the results here

My son's family, wife and three grandsons were going to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island the morning of the 3rd of Sept. While waiting for the ferry I mentioned to my son that a night photo of New York City was on my bucket list of photos. He said he was willing to bring me back at nightfall if I wished. Of course I said yes.We mounted up the gear, Nikon D850, 24-70mm lens, tri-pod and essentials into the back pack and started our trip at 8:30 P.M.Arrived on site at 9:15 PM I kn

Title or Location: Firestone Country Club, Akron Ohio
The water tower at Firestone Country Club with the circular, golf ball top was the perfect place to take a picture with a full moon next to it. I have been using Photopills to plan this picture for over two years. The height of the tower is on the internet, but the diameter of the circle is not. I had to do some math to calculate that to get the right distance away to be the same diameter as the moon. Actually, at the perfect distance I would have been on the top of someone's house, so it is a

Title or Location: Cuyahoga Valley National Park
The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad usually extends from south of Cleveland to Akron. However, due to erosion along the Cuyahoga River the northern stop is in Peninsula, OH, which is close to where I live. That night I wanted to get sunset pictures in the National Park, but the clouds made it impossible. I decided to check out whether the diesel was in Peninsula, and it was, so I was able to get a picture. Canon R6 camera with shutter of 1/100 sec, f/4.0, ISO 6400. RF 24-105 mm Lens at 24 mm.

I live near the water. As I worked in my garden, this eagle landed near the water's edge. It stayed long enough for me to grab my good old Cannon Rebel and I was able to capture several images with my 200mm lens. The bird seemed to have no fear of me. I moved slowly peacefully towards it and I ended up about 25' away. I did not want to scare it, so I only captured a few images. When I had finished, the bird remained here for quite some time. It was an amazing experience. I did crop the image to

Title or Location: On beach south of the Golden Gate Bridge
Went to San Francisco to visit my son. I had the site of photo in mind, looked at local map to find a beach to capture the photo. When I arrived to frame the photo, needed to take off shoes to enter water with tripod. Used my 20mm prime for the photo. Enjoyed the final image, doesn't always happen.
